In 2011 a 75-year old woman cut a fiber optic cable, cutting 2 entire countries off the internet. She was scavenging for copper when her shovel cut a fiber optic line which put not just Armenia but parts of Georgia offline. Police arrested the woman but released her on account of her age. Local media have dubbed her the spade hacker.
