Congratulations to my hometown, Rivers Hoopers Basketball Club for the incredible performance at the Sahara Conference of Basketball Africa League ...looking forward to the finals in Kigali ...showing off my Hoopers shirt

Kudos to my Brothers, Chris Green & Ifie Ozaka & Coach Ogoh Odaudu

The first time I met Chris in 1984, and Ifie in 1999 was on the Basketball courts 15 years apart.

Chris is always associated with Football but he is Basketball through and through and I met him on the Basketball court in my first week at UST.

When he was re-appointed Honourable Commissioner for Sports in Rivers State, I told him he was not paying attention to his game. He promised to surprise me...

E shock me! 😲

Well done 👏✔👍

Ifie Ozaka played and won MVP when we organized the Adidas Streetball challenge at VandykeSports in 1999.

He has been involved with the Hoopers evolution ever since.

Coach Ogoh I met when I was involved with marketing the Nigeria Basketball League with Vmobile, and nothing pleases me more than seeing we can trust Nigerian Coaches.

To all the Players who have been part of the journey, this is a great moment to cherish.

Thanks for putting Nigeria on the Map, was really refreshing to watch, and especially see the quality of Players representing the colours of our dear Rivers State.

This will inspire young people, not just in Port Harcourt, Rivers State but all across Nigeria.👏

All the best in Kigali.

Port Harcourt to the world

I am proud of you all.
