The internet outage has reached more than 144 hours

NetBlocks, a telecommunications watchdog organization, said that the internet outage in Gaza had reached 144 hours, or six days.

This blackout has surpassed the longest record since the war in Gaza began, and is the ninth blackout since October 7.

"Internet blackouts are a matter of life and death in Gaza. It makes no sense to tinker with connectivity in the midst of unprecedented violence and untold human suffering," Marwa Fatafta, advocacy director at Access Now, said in a statement on Thursday.
