"What would it mean to
overcome oppression?
What would it mean for our society to
have that kind of transformation?...
What awareness?
What daring?
To get people to see
that no one is really thriving
if others are laid waste?...
What would it mean?
What would it take?"

To Each their own Destiny
In a swordsmith village far far north
ruled by shogunate, lived the executioner's hearth
There dwelled a girl with a firm resolve
Who decided that women should birth and only men should swords absolve?
In a world with powers and abilities grand
Where people born and boasted their quirks with a stand
A boy born normal and devoid of abnormalities
Who decided he can't be the hero others declared with their peculiarities?
In a world where mountains are might and pierce the skies
And humans are frail and are at mercy of the caverns cries
One man stood up to their might and awe
Who decided he can't conquer them and dig a path through the heavenly abode
The world is skewed and powerful dominates the weak
Conventional is normal, and anything else is meek
Those who dare will prevail over the norm
They are the ones who decide their fate and destiny beyond

"Our aspirations are too often tainted by our greed, tarnished by the foolishness of our trifling agendas, leveraged by the rot of our biases, infected by adherence to the toxicity of politically-correct propaganda, and misappropriated by our desire for acclaim and acceptance. And the subsequent rot that gorges itself on such aberrant behaviors is veneered thick with lies that incessantly deny that any such rot exists or that it is being liberally fed. Prayer is the single force that has both the potency and capacity to transform our greed into grace, make sacrifice our agenda, bring bias to heel at the feet of a passion to bless, transform the corrosive constraints of politics into an unquenchable thirst to serve, and rest in the fact that if God accepts us no other acceptance is necessary. Prayer is the game-changer. The culture-changer. The life-changer. Make no mistake about it. It is the answer to the desperation of our times and the hope of a future."
