After talking to people in the community we identified a huge need for notifications about different NFT actions (transfers, listings, buys, auctions, auction bids, offerings, offer confirmations) happening on Proton —  that works across all markets (Soon.Market, ProtonMint, GLBDEX, ProtonMarket, …)

For this reason we decided to build our own Notification Bot support creators as well as collectors to get all the important information they need!

Meet “Soony”

Soony currently appears on Twitter Telegram. As we heard that many NFT creators are aiming to move their communities to Discord we also aim to bring Soony to Discord as ? as possible!

Twitter

On Twitter Soony is already live for a few weeks now and notifies everybody about new NFT auctions. If you wanna make sure to never miss any NFT auction you should definitely follow it! ;-)

The cool thing here is that we implemented a mapping from collections to the Twitter handles which means that if Soony knows the Twitter handle of the collection / creator it will tag it in the Tweet.

 

Telegram (closed beta!)

We are very excited to announce the closed beta launch of Soony on Telegram with this blog article. Soony allows creators to subscribe to NFT actions of up to 3 different collections per channel!

Soony will notify the channel when any of the following actions occur in the subscribed collections:

• TRANSFER
• LISTING
• PURCHASE
• AUCTION
• AUCTION BID
• AUCTION WINNER
• OFFER
• OFFER ACCEPT

Over the past weeks we invited some members of the community to join our test-channel and provide us feedback. Additionally we activated Soony already in the Cypher Gang channel exclusively.

Additionally we’ve already set up a public notification channelthat keeps you informed of all important NFT activity across all marketplaces.

Closed beta — starting tomorrow!

Now we want to provide the bot in the hands of the community and start with a closed beta which will run ~2 weeks! Depending on feedback, maturity and demand we may decide to have an even shorter closed beta period ;-)

After those 2 weeks closed-beta we will allow any creator to use Soony upon request — for free!

For free, really?!

YES — we think that basic notifications about collections should be free to use for every NFT project!

However, by default Soony will post following message every 10 notifications:

We are thinking about a Premium subscription where you can pay for Soony to get rid of those donation messages.

Also it is very likely that Soony provides some additional functionality in the future where we might charge users for.

The basic notifications will be free, forever!

How to join the closed beta?

Tomorrow we will start a competition that we run on Twitter and Snipcoins (Social Media Platform on Proton) where anybody can mention their favorite NFT project which they would like to support. The competition will run for 24 hours and we will actively reach out to the projects / creators that were mentioned most. If they want to activate Soony we will whitelist their Telegram channel which will allow them to subscribe to up to 3 collections.

What’s next for Soony?

We take feedback of every community into consideration and of course we will add requested features to Soony as ? as possible.
